Yes

I came across this recently. It's an open source alternative to Lightroom, sort of. It was created by an 18 year old in the space of two weeks. I'm not familiar with LR, so I can't say how valid a claim that might be. But, I understand it's similar to an older version. All I know is that it looks less horrendous than RawTherapee, and it will be interesting to see how it develops.

I think it's impressive, considering it's the work if one person.
I like the library view, though it's a bit clunky changing to another root folder, unless I'm missing something.
I'm still using Affinity Photo as my main editor but lack of a library view is a negative, so I'm keeping a watchful eye on Rapid Raw.
Incidentally, I agree that RawTherapee is daunting initially, but it's also very impressive.

Oh, I did say that, didn't I? :$

Yes, it's interesting. And when you think that a youngster can knock that up in a few weeks it sort of puts things in perspective. But, I'd just like to add that Rawtherapee is not as horrendous as I made out. I've got to grips with it now, and it's pretty much ideal for what I do.

Probably written using AI generated code..... Vibe programming!

I recommend looking at Digikam. A good image manager with loads of useful features. Also able to invoke Affinity as an image editor from within Digikam.

I can heartily recommend the latest version of Rapid Raw. I have only just scratched the surface and it's very impressive.
