I think its a great horned owl IIRC The chest bars are verticle on the EEO
( but Owls aren't my strong point though)
 
Thanks all, I think you are right on the Horned fellow Cobra. Can anyone confirm if the "soggy owl" is a juvie snowy or somit else? I can't remember what it said on the name plate or even if there was one, and now it's bugging me.

A lovely set of images ... (y) ... and the focus is almost spot in in most of them the last being a little soft around the eye ... :shrug: ... and it's missing part of the tail ... :cautious: ... but some really good takes there imhgo ... :D
