Or in Singapore they've got a tin of grey paint they use before selling on the bay.
 
those grey nikon lens is limited edition. they don't make them anymore. The same lens that sell in black is cheaper ..... so if you like the grey then you have to paid the price lol.
 
Nikon have offered a few lenses in 'light grey' (their terminology) for a while. B & H used to sell them, and may still do so, but I don't know if these are produced continuously or in batches.

I read somewhere that they also made a couple of rangefinder lenses in light grey back in the 50s, but I'm not sure about that.

I think the Nikon name for the colour is actually "tropical grey", the whole idea being that the lighter colour reflects the heat better in warmer climes.
