Rare? Unusual? GSW Chick

This is first Great Spotted chick I have ever seen that does not have the red on it's head? All other chicks in the nest did have besides this one.

I have asked on a few groups but don't seem to be able find an answer, guessing it just lacking the red pigment maybe, but the other chicks do have the normal red

Weird! I know very little about GSW, but having just observed a nest for a while I did a fair bit of reading in several books and online and always read that the chicks have a red cap. Well spotted! (no pun intended)
