RAW

i really can't open my RAW files, it's annoying, i could before, but it just happened, now photoshop tells me they're the wrong format? I downloaded the camera RAW off adobe website, and it still doesn't work! help, please, I'm so annoyed!

I'm using a 450D and CS3

Have you tried using Digital Photo Professional. Install that and open your RAW files there. You can apply sharpening, minor corrections etc before converting to JPEG for final photoshop adjustment.

I did it!! after hours of fiddling around, i did it, all on my ow, don't ask how i did, but i'm proud of myself!

The latest version of Adobe Raw won't let me open RAW files from my 30D, I had to go back to the older version :shrug:

Install the RAW codec off the canon site (download) and try it.

No issues with my 450D and CS3 recognising them.

I have the same problem. Got a D90 last week and Elements 6 cannot open raw files. Am currently using Capture NX2 which is very slow and has crashed my pc twice.
