Raynox 250 with D3000

there are some of the images I have produced with either a kit lens, a Tamron 70-300 with macro switch or the cheap ebay macro adaptors (and I mean cheap - £10 for 5 lenses.

Would I be able to use this on top of the macro function on the 70-300 or would it be better on the 18-55 or 55-200 VR lenses.

I am now wanting to do a bit more macro but had given up on being able to afford anything for a while, until I came across the 250.

Is it worth buying, or do I wait until Christmas for a Sigma?

Raynox DCR-250 is +8 diopters, so if you take your cheap ebay set and put together a combo that adds up to 8, the Raynox will work exactly the same as that - but with better image quality.

Thanks - I so want a macro lens but I think I will have to settle for one of these for now
