Just a quick message for the guys who gave me advice on the above item.
Took the camera to Colchester Camera Repair Centre who are a recognise Canon agent, they fitted the upgrade version plus they gave the camera a full tear down service plus diagnostics check all for £211.
During the check they came across a loose ball bearing????? [emoji15] which they reckon could of given me the battery communication issue.
They gave me a 6 month warranty as well.
