just a note to say i bought the canon 580 mk11 speedlight after careful thought i went for the canon as you can work it from the camera thanks for assistance now all i need is a good book to teach me how to get the best from it any ideas ?

Thanks for that just the sort of thing i need to get beyond auto, thanks for link the manual is ok but a bit brief for someone who has been using a 380 flash for years happy new year !!!!!
