driving along the m62 there is a piece of art just off jct 11 (Birchwood)

today i had to exit there and the light looked so good i had to stop


taking some images in colour and some in IR (dedicated ir fuji s3)


I would like comments on the 2 images i put forward please

firstly the IR shot

Such an incredible sky in pic 2, which seems to have been lost in the IR Black and White version. However I much prefer the composition of pic 1. Thats really the problem with two versions. If I just had either I'd be contented, however two such diverse versions leads to a touch of confusion/conflict.
Both have tremendous merit although Pic 2 just does it for me

but i did not intend confusion (note to self - keep ir and colour work seperate for critique) :thinking:
 
That is a wonderful sky in the second shot, like them both with their great lead in with the arches and the figures to hold your attention. I think the Infra Red shot is a little dark but that could be my monitor (needs some calibration)
