Real world pictures from owners of the 5D Mark III

Still no real world people shots that push the cameras capabilities, what is it with taking stupid inanimate objects with new cameras? why don't they just walk out the door and shoot things to make a camera work.......

Don'y worry Wilky, he has probably gone to bed now. I am sure tomorrow he will have some nice stuff for us to look at.

I have a 5D III arriving within the next 2 hours, (Tracked as left Sheffield Depot at 8am for delivery before Noon..) So will try and get some acceptable real life examples up for you on this thread if you want when it arrives.

Need to give it a good test as its straight into the Workflow proper from Monday for the body, so will give it a push and see how it goes.

Need some fast focus tracking type shots Richard if you can post those. I think everyone agrees that the noise handling is better. Possible a B&G shot for white dress & black suit too type thing.

Have a good day whatever you will be shooting.

Not sure about the B&G!! I shoot Theatre/Concert & News. So for me its increase in ISO Performance & DR that I will be looking for, but will see what I can do with tracking etc.

Nip over to Manchester before noon Richard, I have a wedding on and we can test it there!

Superb, looking forward to seeing them, I just want to see somewhere a nice people image in average conditions something like 1/160 f4 ISO3200/6400 for me where I shoot weddings it would represent the sort of conditions that I shoot in all the time. It won't be long before there will be lots on show :clap:

OK its arrived

Will chuck a bettery from the 5DII in it and pop off for a couple of hours to see what it can do,

You wallet has crept into the frame on the right I see, and it looks somewhat deflated :lol:

As much as I'm prepared to cream over the 5d3, is it only me who's dissapointed with these iso 1600 shots;

Ok, you have to ask why shoot at 1600 in that light (especially on an FF body) but look at the noise on the trees! Even if the shadows have been pushed in post I wouldnt expect that level of chrominance noise.

One lucky git!

Enjoy and I look forward to seeing what images you share.

Can I ask you where you purchased from?

Mark
