Hi - I want to buy a tripod and attachments for a relative who uses her smartphone a lot for (really shakey) video but has no equipment. I want it to be a surprise so can't ask her what to buy. When I go online to buy I see, for example a tripod spec with 'tripod attachment 1/4'' 20 , screw thread 3/4''. I don't want to buy incompatible stuff so if I want a tripod and a separate smartphone adapter which measurement do I need please for the adapter, ie 3/4'' or 1/4''? Grateful for any advice!
