No
Preferably in the south east.
I'm going into my mums loft this weekend to dig out some of my earlier work shot on 5x4 (hope there ok, it was 25 years ago!)
I'd like to find someone fairly local as I'm not convinced i trust the post.
Any recommendations much appreciated :)

Are you are a cheaper flatbed scan or better quality drum scanning? Not sure there are many scanners for 5x4 which aren't drum unless you DIY.

Horses and flash...you are a brave man...;)

How many are you looking at scanning? The cheapest drum scan is around the £15 mark each but the quality is a lot better than any flatbed.

I though I had read somewhere that drum scanners scratch the negative?
That was a while ago so they may have improved since but worth a cautious enquiry.

Even cheapest Imacon scanners are quite good for 4x5.
I've just scanned one of 4x5 slides with my Imacon Flextight scanner.

Straight away from the scanner - no PP:

Let me know if you want to see the photo in 5853x6658 resolution and I'll send you a link.

If you need to scan only 3-4 slides you can post it to me and I'll scan them for free.
