Recent Gig Photography.

Here's some of my recent Works. Hope you all find the time to have a look. I am not as fortunate as some to use a true SLR at a Gig, so I have to make do with my Powershot G9. It serves me greatly, some of these Photos have been tweaked slightly in PS.

The higher res didn't work when I tried it, so it's hard to comment. The forum allows 800 pixels along a side, why not repost with the larger images? Welcome.

you should put some larger images up it wouldn't let me see the bigger shots, I'm looking forward to seeing the bigger images

full of texture and intersting lighting.
lots of mood too
I shoot DSLR at gigs at f1.4 or f2.8 which is so much easier. it's really a case of decent equipment makes such a difference.
interested in seeing how the G9 does in those circumstances. good shot though

are they crops? are the larger images sharp which is a hell of a battle.
I get criticised for chopping off guitar heads as you have in a few shots.
have a look at my shots to see what I mean. Still not got it right, but the new lens hopefully will help.

A few a crops but I kept the ratio so it doesn't look so obvious, although some of my older stuff looks a bit obvious lol.

if I'd gotten those with my 40D and f/1.4 50mm I'd have been happy

Bit of an update, well. I say update. Found some Photographs I forgot to upload and were perfectly fine! So here they are.
