Recent trip to a Battleground

I live fairly close to a battleground of the American Revolution, it is huge so have only walked and explored about a third of it so far

I was really impressed by how tidy and clean monuments are kept here, not one spot of graffitti on any bench or building, or any real litter anywhere.

I took loads so here are just a few

Nice set of shots though the last two do nothing for me personally. They look very contrasty almost HDR, is that because the posted size is relatively small or was that your intention?

I do like strong images, but haven't really done much to them, it was a fantastic day, and the colours were wonderful,really strong sunlight and shadows. So they are pretty much as they came out of the camera, might be the resizing to post on here
