Well, having recently upgraded from a 500D kit lens to a 50D and 60mm macro (plus a couple of additional zooms, including the Canon 28-135), I have to say - what a lovely camera! Not since I stopped using an EOS 1 years and years ago has a camera felt so good to use. Functional, robust and ergonomic.
Really liking the 60mm macro too, which I picked up relatively cheaply at Argos (having decided it didn't warrant the extra money on the 100mm). The shots below show how lovely and sharp it is, hopefully.
