Just ordered the MB-D10 and was thinking about going down the rechargeable AA route to get the 8fps and using the enel's for backup. But not sure which batteries to go for. Are the 2500 mAh any good?
 
I'm sure that 2500mAh will be fine. I use 2700mAh which seem to last forever. Of course 2800mAh would be even better.
 
Some eneloop batteries which once charged keep for about a year with only a 20% drop in charge might be handy as a backup set.
