Rechargeable batteries - are these any good?

They're for my flash - it seems to be eating batteries and I need to look at a fast charge alternative.

By any chance, can anyone tell me how many shots I should get from my Canon 430ex with a set of these batteries?

The batteries are far from the highest capacity at 2200mah.

I have and use 2700mah and they will certainly outlast 2200's by a fair bit.

Without looking I think Energizer do have 2700 batt's.

Mine are Uniross and I have used them for years with both the 550ex and 430ex. They last a long time in the 430 but nowhere near as long in the 550.

You can't say how many shot's you will get as every shot would be different but I'm happy with mine.

i was thinking of getting some of those from B&Q. IIRC, they're £15 (-20% for my staff discount )

or i may be thinking of the duracell versions... :/

The wife uses my AA 2800mamp batteries in her Canon A430 and has no problems. We always take spares out with us. The basic rule is just buy the highest milli Amp Batteries you can afford.

I use 7dayshop batteries. I have about 4 sets that I use for my 430ex. They work very well.

Brilliant - thank you everyone, have just ordered some from 7 Day Shop now.

I had to go and get some Energiser Lithium ones as I didn't have time to get any from 7 Day Shop as I was doing a wedding the day after and can you believe it, I took about 950 shots on one set of batteries and they're still going strong.
