Rechargeable batteries

Looking to get some rechargeable batteries and the last time I bought was for my sony walkman tape.
Looking now, there are thousands, some cheap, some expensive.
Looking for my two flash guns, and want them to last, not throw away after a couple of charges.
What do you guys in the know recommend?

Eneloop I think by Sanyo, Someone mentioned Asda were having a deal on them last week 4 for a fiver not sure if they still have (as I'm in Germany )

I use camlink AA 2700 Nimhs in my flash gun and they have been faultless since I bought them.
I got them off ebay inc charger for a smidge over 10 notes

Eneloops are highly recommended. They dont have quite the capacity of some others (although I wouldnt completely trust the rated capacities, and I find eneloops have a good capacity), but the main advantage is they hold their charge much better than other rechargeables which is great for flashguns when you want to have a few sets in the bag ready to go

Eneloops again.
I've got fed up of picking up (supposedly charged) batteries only to find they had discharged themselves. Shouldn't have this problem with Eneloops.

7Dayshop claim to do their own make, but I can never bring myself to trust them.
