Rechip for Canon and compatible lens search

Hi,
My 1st post.
I have two camera bodies and a few newer lenses. I also have many older Canon and Sigma lenses that worked on older bodies. If I attach these older lenses I get an error message. I have been told the lens need to be re-chipped. Canon does not do this anymore but I heard there is a guy that sells DIY kits.
Can anyone clue me in ?

That looks like exactly what I need to re chip my lens.. I think ill order one and give it a try. ill post back with the results. Looks like there is a website also.

For myself it is an old 500mm but if your asking about a 400mmI messaged him on fleebay and he says will worlk with all models. Since I am new here I dont think I can add his site. Its a bit cheaper there. Thanks again Mike P
