Recomend a compact

Plea from my mum (yes I was born)

"Rick can you recommend me a compact camera. my budget is about £120"

It will need to be fairly easy to use, and produce great images in Muppet mode

Any ideas?

canon G series are great
but only second hand on ebay at the price you want
go from G7 G9 G10
G11 and G12 might be over your price range

but i managed before last christmas to get a G11 for £130 but that came with loads of extras
