Hello everyone hope someone can help!

I have a Manfrotto 190XPR0B tripod.

My biggest lens is Sigma 150-500 lens and I'm off to Whipsnade on 16th.

What would be the best head for it which would enable me to shoot landscape/portrait with it?

I get envious of football photographers who seem to have some sort of tripod head which can used in both landscape but can be quickly tilted to portrait. Is it a wibberley or would manfrotto do something similar?

football togs are probably just using the rotating tripod collar on the lenses, I know I do. I'm sure there will be a few tripods around on the 16th, I'll have my wimberly rip-off (benro) with me you can have a look at

Thanks for reply M8. Much appreciated. Anyone else?

Manfrotto 322RC2 - bit more expensive but quick and easy to go from landscape to portrait :)

Hello M8. Hope you are well. Many thanks for your reply. I've actually got that head but am not convinced about tilting to portrait if you have something as heavy as Sigma 150-500 attached to it.

Did read on one webste about the head being set up for right handed grip but people found it easier to switch it to left handed grip so they could operate camera with right handed. One person said it took two minutes to do. Any idea how you would do it?
