Recommend me a stereo headset for the ps3

I'm looking at a stereo headset and Mic for the ps3 for game sounds and communication.

What are the offerings and are the budget ones worth it?

If you use a wired headset, how does it connect? What cables?

I've got wireless senheisers (sp?) at the moment, looking for something with a mic on.

I use a Turtle Beach set which connects through USB. Works great and has a huge long lead. Only downside is I still cant figure out how to get the game AND chat sounds to come through the headset, must be some setting on the PS3 that I haven't switched on.
