recommend me a tablet for web browsing

I'm toying with buying getting a tablet for web browsing and email and basically nothing else... so it doesn't need to sing and dance and have thousands of apps just to work well for web and email. So what would people recommend?

Original iPad can do that at a now reasonal price, plus it can do a lot more that you will probably want to do once you get one.

Samsung 7in (there is a newer version with a faster processor)
Samsung 8.9in
Samsung 10in
Sony 9in

Thing to try is on the stores tablets, swipe left n right to see how jery the graphics get when rendering the background and the menu items...

Also gives you some sizes to see which is comfortable etc...

Androids possibly are upgradable, ipads -> as and when apple upgrade stuff...

iPad without a shadow of a doubt. You can buy the 16 Gig iPad 2 from Ebuyer's eBay account. Good reputable supplier and at that price it's a steal.

Wonderful device, and I'm no Apple fanboy. I tried many of the alternatives but in terms of functionality and design, none came close.

Well I had a play with a few today and wasn't overly impressed by some of them, the only one (apart from the iPad) that tempted me was the Blackberry as I like the idea of being able to connect it to my phone and also liked the smaller size. So any feedback from anyone who has used the Blackberry would be good.
