These are very difficult to buy without feeling them "hands on". I am looking for a bomb proof one to replace the c**p one I got of the internet:( This is only to keep me dry, I'm not looking for a large one to keep kit dry or hide under, just a regular umbrella 1mtr - 1.1mtr. Thanks.

I like the review...
Become that stealth ninja you have always wanted to be. This hat is like being a navy seal on a black ops mission to avoid the elements. I used to get sun and rain on my face on a regular basis. Now with the headband camo umbrella, mother earth has got nothing on me. This hat is functional, fashionable, and tactical.

** Be warned though, I recently put this product down and can't find it anymore. Never underestimate the effectiveness of the almighty camo. **

I can't find any examples of bomb-proof umbrellas but President Sarkozy's bodyguard had something close:
http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-black-umbrella-changes-defensive-shield.html

There is the also the unbreakable umbrella, which can be used for self-defence:
http://unbreakableumbrella.com/unbreakable-umbrella-videos/
with many helpful videos which should help you to disable your bomber before he has time to set it off.

There is also a very helpful discussion of the possibilities of bullet-proof umbrellas at:

There is a short history of weaponised umbrella on the Bartisu web site here:

Try a fishing shop. I know that good, actually windproof(ish!) brollies exist but they ain't cheap! A golf partner paid about 40 quid for one after having several cheapies turn inside out. The expensive one has survived so far.

I've tried a few fishing shops but they tend to be a lot bigger than what I want. I've found this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/Gustbuster-Camouflage-folding-umbrella-Fishing/dp/B009OHDRZU but it might turn out to be just as bad as the other. Who knows?

I didn't even know such things existed, but after some Googling i think i may have found the perfect one :ROFLMAO:

The reviews are quite funny and not actually jokes either.

There is review of gustbuster umbrellas that's makes them sound quite good. The two on amazon have quite good reviews and supposedly used in windy weather.

Like others I'm intrigued by what you want to use a camo umbrella for. I didn't even know it was possible to get on in camo either. I'm guessing you could make your own low hide with one a bit of camo netting and some clothes line pegs.
