Hi
I`am after a good pair of gloves for these cold winter and wet months so most be nice and warm ,windproof and water proof as well but would need to operate the camera when wearing them
what do you wear and recommend

Thanks for that

The North Face Pamir E-Tip gloves are very hard to beat IMHO.

Very toasty, good fitting and thin enough to operate camera controls.

Relatively expensive at about £35 a pair but well worth it.

I've a set of Lowepro gloves that were bought for me and they're great, also have little rubber dots on them to aid grip with the camera and body - not waterproof though...

I wear cycling gloves made by Altura, they are waterproof. They also have quite a bit of padding, but I don't find it too tricky to operate the controls on my 5DMkII which is quite chunky.

However I'd question why waterproof gloves. I wear them because I have them and don't want to buy more stuff. But if you're somewhere you need waterproof gloves your camera gear might be suffering a bit!
