recommendations for a monopod for a 7d

i'm after something which is light so can take anywhere with me.

What height are you, 4ft 6in or 6ft 6ins?

How much do you want to spend?

Take a look at the Redsnapper thread/website in trade sales,i have one of these and it's great and it's always in the car.

hi sorry i am 5 7ins, i would be using primarily either a 10-22mm or a 70-200mm. i dont want to spend mega money just something which will give me good service.

I have just bought a Velbon UP-400 Monopod £19.99 from local camera shop though I believe Jessops have them for the same price.
Strong and Lightweight with adequate height.

I use the Slik Pro Pod 381CF (now 382CF I think) - excellent but pricey. I also have the Redsnapper monopod which is very sturdy, a bit on the heavy side though
