Recommendations for film paper and best (cheapest) buy

Hi All

Going to dive in to the darkroom and do some printing. I have done it before in a college setting so everything was provided without having to think about it.

This time I'm flying solo so I need some paper to print onto. Preferrable 8X10 Multigrade Resin Coated. Chems are provided at the darkroom.

Whats the word on the streets about this kinda thing?

I've used Ilford's Multigrade IV RC in gloss and I really liked that, but it's the only paper I've used so I have nothing to compare it to. There are a few people on the forum who have been printing for decades and really know their stuff, so they'll be in a better place to advise.

I've got lots of paper, all Ilford multigrade RC or Fibre.
I've printed enough to know now what I like and its Warmtone gloss.
Matt never did it for me and the blacks in Pearl are not as lush as gloss, I mean its ok but pearl doesn't seem to display depth in the type of pictures I shoot, that gloss does.
Same goes for the Warm tone, it works nice with the things I shoot but neutral and cooltone have their place.
So that's me, Ilford multigrade RC or FB Warmtone Gloss

RC, Resin Coated, its much easier to wash than FB.
