Recommendations for studio lighting kit bags

Have a look around the flash manufacturers' sites, most do a few bags and cases etc, eg Lencarta http://www.lencarta.com/studio-lighting-shopfront/bags-a-cases

But I wouldn't put everything all in one bag. I've tried those, such as some of the Bowens kits that come in a really nice custom wheely case. When loaded up with stands and heads, they're huge and heavy - hard to lug around and a PITA to fit in a car. Much easier to put stands in one and heads etc in another.

Not wanting to pay an arm and a leg for the manufacturers branded cases\bags I bought an appropriate sized small suitcase and passed it with some good quality closed cell foam (exercise mats) and bought large tripod cases from ebay so I could fit 2 light stands and brollies into one bag.

Hockey bags, cricket bags, places like TK Maxx will maybe have at bargain prices this time of year, then it's your ingenuity to partition it up.

But studio kit bags are all a similar price, even if you look to the no-brand on ebay.

That is exactly what I am planning on doing :)

Rather than paying hundreds of dish for purpose made bags
