Recycle bin

Help ! can anyone tell me where to look for a recycle bin on a computer? I can't find it to empty it

It's usually on the desktop but the shortcut might have been moved/deleted. Type 'recycle' into your search box.

Done that and all it brings up is Outlook express :shrug:

Try right-clicking your desktop and selecting "properties." On the window that comes up, select the "desktop" tab, then click "customize desktop." On the next window, select "recycle bin (full)" and click "restore default," then repeat with "recycle bin (empty)."

Got it Thanks that told me it was full then went to empty it nothing in it and I have not emptied it for ages:shrug:

What operating system are you using?

The folder is on the C drive 'C:recycle' but it may be hidden.
