Nice shot. My only criticism of it is the distracting blob of red smoke on the left-hand side of the image. If it were my shot (and I wish it was!) I think I'd have cropped it out.

The red blob didn't bother me until you lot mentioned it !! And now I agree with you!

Loving this shot though - it works perfectly. I tried getting some reds shots in the summer (albeit with a 1 year old on my shoulders) - and if I'd have gotten anything half as good as this I'd be happy!

Having seen the RA numerous times - the "red Blob" for me gives a better impression of their display. I too wish this shot was mine. I like the atmosphere this shot brings
