Another excellent from me too, perch, pose, detail and a perfect clutter free bg , its a pity we don't see more of these sort of shots in the birding section.

The only thing I would say Mark (I know I've said it before) but the noise in the bg could be cleaned up a tad more

Cheers folks, Phil, yeah i don't bother with the noise unless im doing something with them other than on the internet.If i print i run them through Topaz Denoise, no matter what you always lose a little sharpness and detail in noise reduction and it then takes more work to bring that back again hence i don't normally bother for just on here.

Very nice, did you use a little fill in flash?

No flash- dont use it for birdlife. Rather not take the shot if conditions require flash, would just sit back and watch instead.
