dropped my canon550ex and smashed the red square cover at the front... doesnt seem to make any difference.. I only use flash on auto so no idea whats what.. will it make any difference?
It covers the AF assist beam lamp Tony......probably not an issue unless you're using it in very dark locations. Do you even have AF assist switched on?
