Nice picture. Would prefer it to be centre of the picture with all of the flower in but thats IMO. I like the black background too.

Works well but seems a little soft, perhaps its just because it hasn't been sharpened after resizing for the web?

Lovely colours but it does look a bit 'soft' but I'm a big fan of black backgrounds

It might look good with a close crop

Thanks L P good to be here. I think it is like Jim Bob said, i have not sharpenned the image up having resized it. I'm going to have to learn that one and the best way to get my photos on this site.

Nice colour and background, but I agree that I would like to see the whole flower in the shot.
