Red in the snow

You should share more often, just looked through your Flickr photostream you do like your Squirrels, :) There's some great garden bird pics on there. Particularly like the Nuthatch ones. (y)
 
That's absolutely gorgeous. I'm a sucker for red squirrels and snow, so to get both at the same time always gets my vote. :D
 
Thank you for your replies. I'm a real sucker for most of our feathered and furry friends but red squirrels are definitely at the top of the list.
It has always been a goal of mine to capture them in the snow so I feel extremely lucky.
Maybe after your kind comments I will have the confidence to post more:)
 
We were not so lucky last week - an excuse to revisit again for sure. Lovely animal.
 
It's the first time we've visited in January and I'd been hoping for snow for months. We arrived on the Saturday to find snow on the ground but it rained overnight and melted it all, so we were really lucky.
