Red Kites - Gigrin Farm

Hey all,
Took at trip to Gigrin Farm today (recommendation from whooshdemon and grumpybadger). Had a fantastic time, got to play with my new 100-400mm. Unfortunately it turned out to be a bit of a cloudy/grey sky day .
This is the first time I've properly had a go at photographing birds.

Nice set David. I actually think a darker sky can help there and it looks good here. My favourite set of pics myself are from a day with black clouds but the birds well lit in front. Think I like the angle on 4 the best, but they're all good shots...

Very nice - perhaps up the exposure a little in PP?

As others have said overcast skies can help with their lovely diffused light; as long as you're not struggling for shutter speed.
