Red Kites

We're hoping to get back up to Argarty soon, but have spent the last few weekends searching out red Kites in other areas. These shots of the Chiltern birds were taken not too for from High Wycombe

They are good efforts but personally i think they look a little soft around the head,
are they big crops ?

The problem when you have to crop biggish is the loss of detail :shrug:,one of the main issues i find with bird/wildlife photography is getting close enough to the subject,conquer that and your laughing,
