I think 1 and 2 would have benefitted from a slightly warmer light,orboosting the sauturation,the pepper looks under ripe,and I reckon shots of food should make you want to grab the subject and eat it.

Thanks richpips :D They're take in natural light and the pepper had been sat in the fridge for nearly a month...and it really was that orange :shrug:

#2 and #3 for me - loving that very close up almost abstract feel!

Texture and juicy detail in #2 is lovely!
 
#2 for me, I like the abstract quality of the image and the richness of the colours.

Nicely done Karin, Light is a bit bright on #2 though but excellent detail in #3 ;)
