Red Snapper RSF-284 Short Column

I'm sure I'm having a stupid moment, but since it doesn't seem to come with any instructions, I'm really struggling to fit this! Didn't see it in the bag at first and just found it much to my delight as I thought I was missing it!

How do you go from the long column to this one?

I assume it must be the same for most/all of the red snapper range, someone must know?

Unscrew the hook from the bottom of the large column and pull it out, replace with the short column.
