This is not a photography question but I've seen a number of good comments about Red Snapper tripods on here so thought I'd ask.
I have found that the very old tripod I'm using for my new scope is not good enough - too much vibration at even medium magnifications, so I need a new one.
As said quite a few folks here like Red Snapper tripods but I understand that the comments are how good these tripods are for photography and not for use with a scope.
While I feel a tripod that will support a DSLR and a big lens should support a scope (it weighs under 2kg) too, the two uses are a bit different. One to be stable for the relativlely short duration of the exposure for a photo, the other much longer use at high magnification.
Does anyone use a Red Snapper tripod with a scope?
Alternatively any other suggestions would be welcomed.
Thanks
Dave
