I need to make my first purchase of a tripod or monopod, due to arm / hand disabilities. The tripod will be used around the home for the majority of the time, and if we go out the wife will carry it. What I need to know are these tripods easy to set up, the ones I have been looking at have the twist lock, are these easy to operate?? What is a monopod like to use, are they more user friendly than a tripod??
I will be buying the legs this month and head next month, I have a budget of £80.00 for each. The legs I have been looking at are Redsnapper RSF-28M & Redged RTA-424, haven't thought about a head yet but I think I will go with a ballhead after reading some reviews. I have chosen these two tripods based on the brand reviews on this site.
As per weight, the heaviest I have is Fuji XT1 and Tokina ATX 100-300mm f4 lens, this combo comes to about 2kgs.
As per monopods I haven't got a clue.

Any advice greatly appreciated, there are no local stockists to me with easy access to try these tripods out, so I will be buying online.
