Redsnapper/other tripods

Right, I've currently got this redsnapper: http://www.redsnapperuk.com/camera-accessories/284_Alloy_4-Section_Tripod.html

I've used it and abused it and it's pretty much unusable now. The top of one of the legs has split so it has a 'floppy leg' and one of my crappy assistants unscrewed one of the legs too far so now the leg falls out.

Now I've been quite happy with the redsnapper and accept it was 'user error' that made it into an unusable condition.

I know redsnapper are on here, do you know when this will be in stock? http://www.redsnapperuk.com/camera-accessories/RS-324_Alloy_4_Section_Tripod.html

I want something better quality and sturdier than the one I got originally. Can anyone recommend anything outside of redsnapper up to £200 which will cope with going through the wars?

I was just looking at the Manfrota 055pro, aluminum 3 section and it is a beast. I don't own it (yet) but I will once I have a solid need for a tripod. Compared to the rest in the shop it felt really good and was right around £100-110. The carbon fiber version felt just as stable, but I felt like it would be more susceptible to impact sitting in the boot.

I have the same tripod at the moment too and to be honest I've never really had any concerns with its stabliity, seems pretty solid in 99% of situations. I'm actually more concerned with weight so the Manfrotto wouldn't be on my list - I'm seriously considering the CF version of the Redsnapper but need a bit more feedback myself before deciding :shrug:
