Just taken delivery of this, first impressions are great, its not as light as i expected, which is a good thing, its very sturdy and with the RS-PG01 Pistol Grip Head its great, here are some sample pics, sorry for the noise, ISO 6400, just realised lol

the bag it comes in is also fantastic, and with the shoulder strap you hardly notice its on your shoulder. Joe at Redsnapper did a great deal and the service was fantastic. i would happily buy from them again (carbon monopod, hmmm)

cant add this to the "reviews" section for some reason? but i will add more detail once i get out with it.

Where can I buy this from dont seem to be on the Redsnapper website  Also If i remember you had the silk 340DX tripod how does this compare to that as that's what I have at the moment.

I'm looking at the TRI-283 but the carbon fibre option might be more suitable as I'm looking at reducing weight a little as it'll be used mainly for hiking etc...how much did it cost if you don't mind ?

cheers

cant remember exactly as it was a deal before Christmas from Joe directly

the legs are alot more sturdy than the Slik Pro one i had. I spoke to Joe direct @ Redsnapper and he sorted me out. it used to be listed on the site but not sure now?

Thanks, I called them earlier but Joe wasn't around, waiting to hear from him

Hi

Any feedback on the pistol grip? Interested in how versatile it is compared to the ball head.

Thanks

Rio

I took delivery of mine the other day, with the ball head.

looks a nice bit of kit, light too.
