Redsnapper RST8-RS-283 and RSH-12 Ball head.

This a good Tripod for the price?
 
many people uses it in here and they all give good review and praise. For the price you really can't find anything better. Only downside with the tripod is the weight. If weight is not a problem then you will be fine.

I use the 3 way pan head but on the giottos tripod and it works fine :)
 
Nice video.

So, a good head then. Just weird not seeing the long handles one sees on most tripod heads.
 
Is a rock solid head for the price you paying. The guy had a D3 plus lens on and it stays rock solid so it give good weight support.

According to the red snapper website, the ball head supports 10-12KG so thats plenty enough.

I've bought the cheap 3 way pan head and it works fine with my D7000 (Gripped) with a 28-70 f2.8 but i needed a head for cheap to use on my tripod since my giottos head is broke.

But i will get this ball head when fund is allow, the ball head is smoother and easier to adjust :)
 
Whats the difference between the RS-284 and the RS-324? I am guessing that the 4 means that they are both 4 section tripods, but does the 28 mean 28mm and the 32 mean 32mm leg diameter? Also, anyone have one of these know the height that they both go to, not mentioned on the site.
