Has anyone used the redsnapper 284 and if they would recommend it. Looking to see if it would suit as a kind of travel tripod but while being sturdy enough to do the job.
Hi Will
It's certainly sturdy enough to do the job (whatever the job may be) but because of it sturdy construction it's also fairly bulky in it's carry bag. If you intend to travel with it to and fro in the car it isn't going to be a problem, but as hand luggage on a flight it might be an issue.
regards
Thanks for reply norm. I have a benbo1 which is quite heavy for carrying distances so was wanting to know if the 284 would be suitable for carrying about or strapped to camera bag but also sturdy as I've had some cheaper tripods in the past that where pretty hopeless.
