Reedmace and Ivy colour and black and white

I am just getting to grips with photoshop elements 9 I have been playing around with it on on a photo I took of some Reedmace and Ivy I took a photo of yesterday I look forward to any comments thank you for looking.

I like your color version of the ivy...the BW ivy doesn't standout enough from the tree, IMHO....

1one is overexposed
2nd does not looks nice because of the same reason
Third is OK, however I do not like composition -subject in the centre
