Refurb iMac 27" Radeon HD 4850 512MB vs current HD 5670 512MB

Would I really notice any difference on an i5 processor iMac? I'm edging towards a refurb (plenty of other things to spend £200-300 on) and for general CS5 photoshop work on normal sized files would I actually even notice any difference? I'm thinking probably not... especially as I'd pref an i5 for the price of an i3

I don't want this to become a PC vs Mac thread so please don't let it turn that way... I guess I'm just confused over the various specs and what I really need :shrug:

Well, HD4870 is the same speed roughly as a HD5770...So I'd guess a HD4850 would be faster than a HD5670. So far as Core 2 Duo/Quad vs Core i5 is concerned, there is a fairly sizeable difference I've read. That said, I can run CS5 + LR3 quite happily on my Q6600, HD4870 4GB RAM system.

Yes, I think I'm better going for refurb i5 over new i3 rather than worrying about the graphics card update for what I'll be doing (I'm too old for graphics hungry gaming LOL)
