Just a little reminder to everyone.

The maximum dimensions for posting photos (as photos and not links) on the forum is 800 pixels on the longest side. This means if you upload large files to flickr you can only use the medium image, not the large (which is 1024).

We are getting a LOT of oversized photos recently and it is bit boring turning them all into links :(

Thanks :)

Probably isn't worth it's own thread, but since the subject has been raised...

Is there any chance of raising the size limit for panoramas from 1000 to 1024? Hardly a noticable difference perhaps but it would be handy for people who host on flickr.
Pretty please? :)

Will raise that with the other staff Matt

and a bump for all the 10am viewers :)

I think it's a regular discussion, usually decided to keep at 800 for the benefit of laptop users etc.

Plus you can always link to the bigger pic.

Amazingly this seems to be having the opposite effect.

STOP POSTING BIG PHOTOS YA BUGGERS! :p

i take it you decided to ignore the 365 threads, fair few are pretty much just 1024 images
