Remote for canon 50D

As above is anyone using a remote for their 50D & if so which one as i need to get one i think.

I use one on my 40D, genuine Canon one RS-80N3, which I think also fits the 50D - check on web site or in your manual to be 100%.

Personall, I would recommend the Canon one only, but I am sure there are others out there.

for my 40D which is the same fitting as the 50D, also have the Canon Timmer Remote, they are both good, and the non Canon is good for the price.

i use an ebay jobbie that works fine, not much to them as they are just a switch (the timer one is different obvioulsy)

When i got mine it was pot luck it fitted my EOS 3 as well.

I've got the TC80-N3 but you should be able to use any that use the N3 connector, plus it depends on what you need too.

Hi

I have just got the Hahnel pro remote, (for canon 40d) Used it for to take bird pictures, while I was standing in the house.

I am really impressed - it was around £40
