Is there nothing you can't find on Ebay :shrug:
 
There are also things called Zigview which either look through the viewfinder or can be plugged in to work through a live-view feed and have a remote release. IIRC, they can also be set to be motion sensor releases.

As a matter of fact there are plenty of items that that are prohibited or restricted on eBay. Have a look, it's quite a long list.

I sail offshore and would like to be able to buy specialist knives that are listed on eBay in the USA and are cheaper than in the UK, but am not allowed to as eBayUK's list of things not allowed includes:
  • Camping, survival, diving and hunting knives
  • Multi-tool knives and craft knives
  • Pocket knives, folding knives and clasp knives
  • Sharp kitchen knives (as in pair blocks), cake knives, carving knives, pairing knives, oyster knives and electric knives
  • Swiss Army knives, Stanley knives and Leathermans
... as well as many other types (flick-knives etc).
