Remote Shutter Release

Hey all,

I need a wee bit of help. I've upgraded from a Canon 350D to a Canon 5D Mark II... however i now need to buy a new remote shutter cable / remote. Ideally i'd like to buy from jessops... but i looked on their website and can't see which one is compatible with my camera.

If someone has a spare minute or two, would you mind having a look and pointing me in the direction of what one would suit me. Alternatively, i could get something off Amazon etc, but i'd prefer jessops as i'd like to have use of one for this wednesday, and it won't be here on time if i order online.

I'm not overly bothered if it's a cable type one, or the remote control sort... any one will do. Previously, i a cable one for my 350D and it did everything i needed.

Sorry for asking such a dumb question, but i'm confused as to which one is suitable.

It's not a genuine Canon one but should be fine.

If you want the best cabled one for Canon then the TC80N3 is brilliant, but expensive! But then it does a lot more than just release the shutter.

Hi Yvonne, I have the RS-80n3 for my 5D II which I bought brand new off flebay. If you consult your manual you can also use the Canon RC-1 or RC-5 Controller.
